Video Game Night for Adults (Saturday, June 06, 2026)

Video Game Night is an opportunity to get together with friends--and make new ones!--through gaming together here at the DC Peers space. We'll choose a multiplayer game to play splitscreen on the TV, and swap people out between rounds. You can join the group, or bring your own individual console to keep grinding away at your current progress in a shared, comfortable space.

Gamers of all levels welcome! Please be aware this event may get noisy. Earplugs, headphones, and other sensory aids are available in the space for anyone's use.

The multiplayer game for this date will be Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.

LEGO Lounge (Sunday, June 07, 2026)

We've got bins of LEGO, building mats, snacks, and good company. Come for 20 minutes or the whole afternoon. Each month we'll have an optional theme or challenge if you want it, plus time for show-and-tell at the end. Or just free-build and zone out. Open to independent builders of all ages (no staff support provided). Bricks stay at the venue, but we'll take photos of your creations so you can show them off later!

Come make an awesome Minecraft world with us! Participants receive access to our safe, private DC Peers Minecraft server and our Discord server. Participants can play anytime during the week, and then we play together on Mondays from 4:30-5:30 pm.

Late-Identified Adult Autistic Circle (Wednesday, June 10, 2026)

The Late-Identified Autistic Circle is a welcoming space for late-identified autistic adults (18 and up). Rather than serving as a therapy group, this community is designed to foster connection, learning, and shared experiences among late-identified or late-diagnosed autistic adults.

We’re playing Magic the Gathering here every other Friday from 5:30-8 pm! If you know the game, we’ll be playing casual Kitchen Table Magic and some Commander too. If you’re a beginner, come learn the Magic. You can come for any part of that 5:30-8 pm period.

Weaving Workshop with Local Artist Cade Emeritz (Sunday, June 14, 2026)

This special workshop is a brand-new offering for DC Peers featuring our own Cade Emeritz, local artist and experienced weaver! Participants will receive a 90 minute introductory lesson covering set up, weaving instruction, and simple yet effective techniques for great variety in finished projects, followed by another 90 minutes of open studio time to work at your own pace and receive feedback, instructional support, and guidance as you weave. Wall hangings, small purses, placemats, and miniature rugs are among production choices. The final product you create will be highly personalized to your own taste and design.

This workshop is capped at 5 participants, but a waitlist will be available and interest will determine the size and availability of future workshops, so let us know if you want to see more!

7"x10" lap looms will be provided for use during the lesson and studio. For an additional cost, participants may opt to keep their loom to use at home and in future workshops. All other materials will be provided.

Topics have included: transitions, parenting, adjusting to diagnoses, learning your strengths/limits/needs, work accommodations, burnout.
