Do you want to try 3D printing but don't know where to start? Come join the DC Peers 3D Printing Certification Workshop! Our facilitator and 3D printing enthusiast Avi will show you the ins and outs of the process from beginning to end--including finding and understanding 3D print files, using 3d printing slicer software to prepare the files for printing, operating the printer itself, and troubleshooting when things aren't working correctly. After this single 2-hour session, you can expect to know the fundamental dos and don'ts of 3D printing and feel confident operating the printer independently!
Participants who complete the workshop will be considered certified in our space, and can use the on-site 3D printer at DC Peers during designated drop-in and makerspace hours.
